Companies may call these informational sessions by different names. The purpose is to acquaint you with the occupations they offer and to inform you of what skillsets you need to fill the career positions. Company Sponsored Career Sessions or Professional Development Workshops will target college candidates as early as their sophomore or junior years. Check at the career development office and the online job boards at your college or university.
Career Fairs
You can attend Career Fairs sponsored by Colleges and University or professional Job fairs. Do a search on the Internet for other associations that sponsor career and job fairs. Use key words such as “Career Fairs Associations” or simply “Career or Job Fairs”. You may want to use the words “Diversity or Multiculturalism in your search to help find those that are diversity driven.
